I AM JOURNEY designs is a custom clothing and novelty item company owned by teen entrepreneur Imani. Imani’s mother realized that she had an interest in fashion after she saw her cutting socks to make dresses for her dolls. To hone this talent, she enrolled Imani in SewFab sewing camp where it became evident that she was extremely talented. Before long, Imani was designing and making outfits for not only her dolls but herself. What started out as play has become business and at just 13 years old this honor student has started on a path to becoming a world-renowned fashion designer with a highly sought after clothing line. Within a few months of starting her company, I AM JOURNEY creations have already found their way to clients across the United States!
